There are always lots of options for sports on campus. Thanks for your comment.Carolyn Toddhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03618998313704070525noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7140012246828551816.post-59981691488225631542012-09-06T07:09:42.857-04:002012-09-06T07:09:42.857-04:00Good point doc. Why do I find myself quoting Joe Paterno a lot these days about game strategy? Including "good teams find a way to win".Carolyn Toddhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03618998313704070525noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7140012246828551816.post-42071254692406757672012-09-05T22:08:28.569-04:002012-09-05T22:08:28.569-04:00Carolyn: I initially blamed the defense for the s...Carolyn: I initially blamed the defense for the second half turnaround, but after looking at the big picture, it was the offense's inability to keep the ball that kept the defense on the field on a hot humid day. Ohio ran a very quick offense and the D could not sub guys in. They wore us down. Penn State had the ball for 6:26 in the 3rd Q and only 3:41 in the 4th!!! Of our 21 first downs, only 8 occurred in the second half. I think had we had just one long drive to give the D a rest, it would have made a huge difference. And that TD that should have been an INT was a killer!psudoc90https://www.blogger.com/profile/17878450280761521236noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7140012246828551816.post-43118139933829495972012-09-05T15:05:42.384-04:002012-09-05T15:05:42.384-04:00Thanks for the article. One thing visiting fans always said is how much they loved PSU because we appreciated great sports. There are some amazing moments all over campus, just between the end zones of Beaver Stadium . . . any Alumni knows that.
